When does Upsaro launch?

How does Upsaro know how close I am?
Upsaro detects your face in the webcam frame and measures its apparent size — when you lean in, your face gets bigger in frame. You calibrate once with your healthy sitting position as the baseline, set a trigger distance, and Upsaro notifies you whenever you cross it. No depth sensors needed; any ordinary webcam works.
Does my camera footage go anywhere?
No. All face detection runs locally on your computer — Upsaro glances at the video just long enough to find your face, and nothing is ever recorded, stored, or transmitted. Upsaro only talks to our servers to check your sign-in and subscription — never to send images.
What does it cost?
Upsaro is free for 14 days with all features — no credit card required, and we never charge you automatically when the trial ends. If you like it, subscribe for €1.99/month or €14.99/year, or pay €39 once for Lifetime and never think about it again. Prices are final: we're not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added. Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime and you keep access until the end of your billing period.
Can I get my money back?

What do I need to run it?
A Windows 10 or 11 PC, or a Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 or newer), and a webcam. Internet is needed to sign in and check your plan; the posture monitoring itself runs on your computer. One plan covers both platforms — sign in on either with the same account.
Does it work with a laptop camera, an external webcam, or several monitors?
Any webcam works, built-in or USB. Upsaro measures how close you are to the camera, so keep the camera on the screen you look at most. If you move the camera, change monitors or switch between sitting and standing, recalibrate with one click.
Does it work with glasses or in low light?
Glasses are fine. Your face needs to be visible and reasonably lit: a very dark room or a bright window directly behind you makes detection less reliable, the same as on a video call.
Will it get in the way of video calls?
In the background Upsaro switches the camera on only for a moment at each check (once a minute by default) and releases it in between. For a long call or a presentation, pause monitoring from the tray icon or with your keyboard shortcut and start it again afterwards.
Will it slow down my computer or drain the battery?
It's built to stay light. Between background checks the camera is off and Upsaro is idle; you can make checks less frequent in Settings. Continuous monitoring only runs while the Upsaro window is in front.
Will it spam me with notifications?
No. While you're actively working with the app focused, you get one alert per posture slip — not a stream. In the background, Upsaro checks at an interval you choose (camera off in between) and nudges only when you're past your trigger distance.
Can I recalibrate or pause it?
Anytime. One click re-captures your baseline posture, and Stop pauses monitoring entirely — from the app, the tray icon, or a global keyboard shortcut you can customize.
Is Upsaro a medical device?
No. Upsaro is a wellness tool that reminds you to sit back. It doesn't diagnose or treat anything; if you have ongoing pain, see a doctor or physiotherapist.
How do I cancel or delete my account?
Cancel a subscription anytime from your account page on upsaro.com or from the app; you keep access until the end of the paid period. To delete your account and its data, write to support@upsaro.com and we'll do it.
Is it in the Microsoft Store?
Not yet — a Microsoft Store listing is on the way. Until then, download Upsaro from upsaro.com.
Can my company buy Upsaro for the team?
